Tempa Rossa

SUMMARY

Tempa Rossa is an oil field located in the upper Sauro valley, in the heart of the Basilicata region, in southern Italy. The project extends mainly on the territory of the Municipality of Corleto Perticara (PZ), 4 km from which the future treatment center will be built. 5 wells are also located on the territory of the Municipality of Corleto Perticara, while the sixth well is located in the Municipality of Gorgoglione. Two more wells will be drilled once the permits have been obtained. The area where the LPG storage center will be built is instead located in the Municipality of Guardia Perticara. When fully operational, the plant - one of the most advanced in the oil sector - will have a daily production capacity of about 50,000 barrels of oil, 230,000 m³ of natural gas, 240 tonnes of LPG and 80 tonnes of sulfur.
